The first impressions of Rietbron are that it is an abandoned, dilapidated old Karoo village.
If you would dare to spend some time here, relax, take in the sunset and the Karoo silence, feel genuine Karoo hospitality, you will surely look at our village with different eyes. What matters here is "the people".
Different types of building styles can be seen. From houses with gables to the flat-roofed Karoo building style. Many three-room cottages were initially built for communion weekends.
In the town there is a church, a primary school, private school, school hostel, police station, museum, general traders, bottle store, home baked cake store, library and tennis courts.
Self-catering guest houses are available. See the "Stay" Page
